Frozen Foods In Ceramic (etc.) Non-stick Cookware - Fractures?
I have been searching for high durability non-PTFE non-stick cookware to use on induction top burners. Someone told me that they had some of the newer ceramic based non-stick, in which the ceramic coating fractured, when frozen or very cold food was placed in a preheated pan.
Someone else claimed this happened Without the food being frozen as well! Both were expensive name brands, but as I don't remember the brands with absolute certainty I won't mention them... I haven't seen any brands who's instructions even mention this; so:
Does anyone have experience with this happening? If so with what brands? Was it covered under warranty?
