It used to be that you could click on a photo on a thread, then click on "this photo's post" and go back to where you were with no problems. Now, when I go back to the thread, the entire thread is expanded. Is this intentional because if it is, I will have to open a new tab to look at a photo, which is a PITA.
It's doing the same thing to me whenever I open a page to see what's new. It's nicely collapsed when I go to the thread, then
the darn thing refreshes right away and expands every comment.
And the page jumps up and down while it's doing that, so I end up clicking where I didn't want to click.
As far as I know, this is working the same way as it always has on our site (including before the new design changes). If you use the button on the photo page that says "this photo's post" it's going to bring you to the specific post (i.e. the permalink) within the discussion, but since it is reloading the page, everything will be expanded.
If you click on a photo, but then use your browser's back button to go back to the previous page, you'll be back on the discussion with collapsed replies.
