Restaurants serving lunch on a Saturday.

  • 7

Other than l'Express, I cannot think of any other restaurant serving regular lunch on a Saturday (as opposed to brunch)? Can someone else? I mean something a little more fancy than a sandwich/asian place.

Thanks in advance.

  1. Lemeac ? Rumi ? Le Petit Alep (a small notch above a sandwich place) ?

True that there are not that many restaurant opened for lunch on Saturdays.

Are you saying Lemeac serves the regular menu on top of the brunch menu?

Does Rumi no longer serve their brunch?

Petit Alep is a good backup, but we eat there all the time, so I think something a little different would be better, as we are celebrating birthdays. Does Rumi no longer serve their brunch?

If we can't find one, we may just settle for a restaurant which have a special brunch, not just eggs & bacon, such as Le Comptoir or Julietta. But I wanted to see if someone could think of one.

Don't about Rumi; it just popped up in my head because friends talked about it yesterday.

I think that Lemeac serve its normal regular menu from noon everyday maybe earlier on week-ends.

Can anyone confirm that Lemeac serves the regular menu for lunch on Saturdays on top of the brunch menu?

    2. Binerie Mont–Royal, Black Strap BBQ, Brasserie Capri, Brisket's, Dinette Triple Crown, Imadake, Mr. Steer, Grilladerie Nostos and Le Valois are the places that I know of. Although I'm certain you would consider some of them the equivalent of a "sandwich/asian place."

      1. Maison Boulud serves lunch on Saturday.
