Restaurant Recs near City Park/Downtown in Denver

Will be visiting DD and new boyfriend who live near City Park in Denver. Will have car. Looking for restaurant recs where I can take everyone out for a "treat" dinner. They both eat meat, however gluten free. Any cuisine except Indian. Good value for money desired. Thanks in advance for your help!

17th Ave/Uptown area has great food. My personal favorite is il Posto, a small Italian place with a young, inventive chef. Italian with a modern flair. Not sure about gluten-free but this is a common request in Denver and likely can be accomodated there. I have head Olivea is great too but have not been there yet. Downtown I would suggest The Kitchen, Rioja, Osteria Marco, or Tag.

Olivea's owners are moving and it closed earlier this month. A new restaurant called Beast and Bottle is opening in that space: http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety...

I'd highly suggest Panzano, they have a full gluten free menu in addition to their regular menu, great food, fun location in Lodo.

I've eaten at Panzano many times for both brunch and dinner and for private events and I can second this recommendation. Get the fried brussels sprouts.
