Go to Wulfs Fish Market. I know he can get them but there is a minimum on the weight, which I believe is 10#

20-25 live select crawfish is around two pounds. That's enough to feed one person, or perhaps two light eaters.

As others have said though, they are out of season so you won't find any anywhere anyway.

Maybe call the crawfish restaurant on Adams St in Dot?

I've heard that place (Brother's) uses frozen. They didn't taste all that fresh when I had 'em. :(

Cajun grocer, an online site, carries them. However, their website indicates they are not in season

You can get them shipped from Louisiana. I was told that one of the seafood distributors by the waterfront can get them for you too. I think they're barely in season though.

Sorry, but in 11 years, I've not once seen live crawfish here, and most of the frozen crawfish are the little inferior ones from Asia.

When they are in season, you can find live ones at a few of the Vietnamese markets in Dorchester. I think that they are in season sometime in or around May.
