I have a country house 10 minutes north of Port Jervis. There really isn't much in the way of a good brunch in that area Maybe as someone else mentioned, Milford which is 10 minutes south of matamoras might be an option.
There is an elaborate brunch (at least there used to be) on Sundays at the Best Western in Matamoras. They have(or had) one complete with a carving station and lots of other choices

Port Jervis is a restaurant wasteland, probably due to the poor economy of the town.

About 10-15 min up the road is Milford, Pa. The Bar Louis at the Fauchere is the best of the lot, a great great lunch menu weekdays and a wonderful Sunday Brunch menu. Great atmosphere as well.

Thanks. I have gotten a few mixed reviews about them. However I can't find anything else.

Limoncello in Goshen, NY. Nice place, beautiful town, and a decent lunch menu. Not a traditional brunch menu, though.,

Are you for buffet style or sit down? What area of NY are you talking about?

Buffet would be better but I will settle for sit down, not a deal breaker. The Tri State I refer to is where Port Jervis NY, Montague NJ and Matamoros PA meet.

You'll only learn about places in NY State on this board. To find out about NJ, try the NJ Board, and there's another board for PA.
