New wine bar in Scarsdale

A new Middle Eastern wine bar has opened in Scarsdale on Harwood Court. It's called Taiim (spelling?). We haven't tried it, but stopped in to take a look and pick up a menu. It's small but quite lovely. The menu is vegetarian--small plates and sandwiches (including falafel, a favorite of ours). Also, they carry wines from the Mid East. This place is on our list to try soon. Scarsdale is becoming quite the restaurant town these days.

Scarsdale place is owned by the same people as Taiim in Hastings.

This looks great!!! Too bad the parking in Scarsdale during the day makes it so annoying to try to go for lunch. I will definitely try it out for dinner.

I'm not a fan of Taiim in Hastings, but the list of vegetarian sandwiches available at the Scarsdale branch is really intriguing.

I tried it. Ambiance is more of a wine bar and less of a middle eastern restaurant. I would have liked the place to be larger and brighter but the location must have had its limitations.

I thought the food was very good across the board. Prices are high but then this is Scarsdale. No complaints with the service either.

Didn't try any of the wines but a surprisingly moderately priced list from israel, morocco, lebanon, italy....
