Scottsboro/Guntersville Dining Options?

Hello everybody.

My hiking group is visiting the Walls of Jericho (it straddles the Tennessee/Alabama border on Hwy 79) a few miles north of Scottsboro and we usually have dinner after the longer hikes.

Any ideas for good places to eat in the Scottsboro/Guntersville area that can handle a large group? There are 58 (!) people currently signed up to go on this hike - probably around twenty-five will want to eat after the hike.

I know about Top of the River (I am not impressed) as well as Wintzels (they are okay - better than Top of the River in my opinion).

The closer to Scottsboro the better - we are likely to be hungry after this hike! We are taking Hwy 79 back to our meeting spot in Blount County, so we would prefer not to stray to far from the Hwy 79 corridor.

You're so close to S. Pittsburg, Tn it would almost be a shame to miss out on Dixie Freeze. A great drive in come meat n 3.
I'd suggest you call and see how big a group they could handle.

In Albertville, just outside Scottsboro there's Catfish Cabin. We haven't been but have it on the radar.
