Ollie's, 68 & B'way Branch, Closed

JoanN Jan 6, 2013 10:36 AM

Due to a fire this past Thursday morning. I know. Few of us think it any great loss. Rumor is that it was scheduled to close anyway and will not reopen. Fingers crossed for something decent in the space eventually, but it's not an easy space to work with.

The food wasn't the greatest but it wasn't all that terrible for any UWS teen or Julliard kid.

Holds lots of fun early Sunday dinner memories for some. :)

For those of you in the nabe, both the soup and the sesame noodles were better at Wok City, takeout and delivery only, on Amsterdam between 66 and 67.

True, but they don't have Cantonese Wonton noodle soup, the only thing more or less edible a Ollie's.
