Such a disappointment hearing this spot closed last week. While some came here for their gourmet hot dogs. For myself, it was the best spot for Fried Chicken in the entire Valley. Those always on a quest for the ultimate fried chicken will miss this spot. A new restaurant will be taking over this spot next month, let's see what enters the Lankershim street of North Hollywood...

So it's official, we have shut our doors for good in Noho. We want to say THANK YOU with all our hearts for the love and support we got from all of our loyal customers!! You guys came in over and over again, and told your friends and some of them came in over and over again. It has been a great journey but we were just not ringing up enough checks to keep the soul rolling. It is a good time for change. Happy new year to everyone!!

Do keep the concept of what you just posted in perspective:

A hot dog place closed, regardless of how good it might have been, is still a closed hot dog place.

Case(casing) closed.

Lightly lamented at best.

Folks, it's fine to disagree, but please try to keep it friendly and focused on the restaurant at hand, rather than leaping into the age-old elitism debate. That one's been discussed to death here and it's always a subject that brings more heat than light.

I am deeply saddened. Loved that Carolina Slaw Dog, the garlicky mac'n'cheese, and the magnificent fried chicken. My life just got a little less fun.
