Looking for rehearsal dinner restaurants for mid-Fall '13 in Newport RI. Venue w/ a separate room preferred, for maybe 50 people. Not familiar with the area. Looking for a place where in town guests can come to afterwards to gather that evening and have a drink and/or food - e.g. a restaurant not a catering venue.

Salvation Cafe has a new space that is beautiful. i think 5th element rents out for private parties. Maybe Rhumbline too

Good food, nice decor, pleasant bar, conveniently right in town, accommodates groups. The Mooring.
