Absolute Thai?

Need a reasonably priced place to meet friends in Penn Quarter -- has anyone eaten at Absolute Thai? Any and all suggestions welcome

    Yeah, used to live in Chinatown, and it was a decent for Thai. Occasionally they would make it spicy for us (that was hit or miss though). Just don't go in with high expectations and you'll be fine.

    Royal Thai on H St was also decent the one time we went.

    My default for reasonable in that area with a group is Matchbox.
