Haven't had either in a LONG time. Willing to pay almost anything.
Tokyo Fish in Berkeley often has abalone -- but not in tanks (as implied in the old thread).
For Octopus, Japanese and Korean markets. Koreana Plaza in Oakland usually has octopus and their prices are relatively low.
I was at Koreana Plaza in Oakland last week and they had small frozen foreign sourced Abalone at reasonable prices.
It depends on what you are going to do with it?
