Daughter wants a "Fancy Dinner" for her 5th Birthday

I recently moved to Ft. Worth and would like to take my daughter out to dinner for her 5th birthday - somewhere where we can get a reservation, get dressed up and make it feel really special for her, but also somewhere where we will likely be able to find her something more kid-friendly to eat. She has great manners and isn't rowdy or disruptive, so I'm not worried about that at all. She's not a big fan of Asian food, but will eat Mexican or Italian. I'd like to stay in Ft. Worth - maybe Sundance Square or West 7th area?

My thoughts at the moment are something like Simply Fondue in Sundance Square, because that's a unique experience, but I don't know what other suggestions you might have. Price isn't really an issue - less than $40 per person is ideal, but not a deal breaker.

Simply fondue sounds great for a young girl. If she likes steak perhaps she would like Texas De Brazil. Kids love the salad bar and having different items brought to the table. Dinner for a 5 year old is only $5!

Without hesitation, the Cafe Modern is in a unique setting..... but it would have to be for lunch or brunch - they have a children's menu for each. Request a table overlooking the reflecting pool. http://themodern.org/cafe
