conversational for foodies

We're looking for a place with great food, moderately priced, and conversation-friendly atmosphere in DC.

If you go to Tosca and order by 6:30 i think it is they have a wonderful 3 course prix fixe for $37. One of the best italian restaurants in DC and nice clientele. Waiters in tuxes just so you know...

The three course, thirty dollar bar menu at the very quiet Corduroy might fit the bill!

Check out Bibianna, Bistro D'Oc, or Cashion's Eat Place.

I've heard of Cashion's an Bistro D'Oc but not Bibianna. I'll check it out. Thanks so much.

I've had food blogger events at Zentan, Bayou Bakery, Carmine's, Perry's, and a bunch of other places. I also like the dining room at Green Pig Bistro

Again, what is moderately priced in your mind. I find Cedar to be moderately priced in relation to other places I've eaten on a fairly regular basis. Could you give me a dollar range either for entrees or as a total bill?

You're right. I should have specified "moderately priced." So Cedar is a little too upscale for what I'm looking for.

If Cedar is too pricey, then I fear so would Tosca.

Depends on what you mean by moderately priced.

                Cedar is a good bet.
