New Year's Eve Dinner - Shrimp al Mojo de Ajo and Fish Fillet Empanizada at Restaurant Anamar, Primo Tapia, Rosarito, Baja

To start, a bowl of our favorite crema de almeja (creamy clam chowder) and a frequently refilled basket of tortilla chips with two salsas (one a fierce brew made from dried arbol chiles and one a mild, fresh pico de gallo) along with bowls of rice and beans served family style. Delicious and so satisfying.

Accompanied by Cervesa Bohemia poured in a proper heavy glass.

Also, we had a lovely view of the spectacular sunset over the ocean..
