Where would you go for the best breakfast and dinner in Miami?

I am staying at the Mondrian so anywhere close to there would be great. Thank you for your advice in advance.

  1. Go to chalan on the beach. The lomo Saltado and ceviche mixto are outstanding and the sangria is very good. Not far walk from Mondrian. Have you done joes take away? It's a classic, get a pound of peel n eat shrimp and a slice of the world famous key lime pie. Hidden gem Italian restaurant called Sylvano comes highly recommended as well, don't miss the homemade pasta.

Macchialina is better than Sylvano's and much closer.

    2. For breakfast try the apple a day health food store. Very close to Mondrian. Get their acai bowl, it comes with the best granola I've had. It's $10, but so unique and delicious it's worth it.

      1. Amazing thank you! I have never been to Miami so will make sure I try these. I found a good review of Yardbird online, do you know if it is worth trying too?

        1. Macchialina is very close to you and worth trying. Better than Yardbird.

Damn we went to Yardbird on my friend's preference and it was, well, just OK :( You REALLY do know! x

            2. By all means try macchialina if you are looking to spend $30-50 per entree. I'm certainly not. I'll stick to my $5 boot of peroni and $12 fresh pasta on a beautiful private deck

There is no entree at Macchialina that is $50. They top out in the low $30's. If you want to eat and drink (pizza, peroni and oysters) cheaply at Macchialia, go during happy hour which ends at 8. Their pastas are pricey, but they are superior to Sylvano's.

The best value of the pastas is the lasagna. Their pork chop is the best on the beach now. It is a large portion that comes in at $26.

Furthermore, it is walking distance from the mondrian where Sylvano's is not.

Hello! Just to let you know we went to Bazaar and it was brilliant, thank you so much for your help x

No problem, what is weird is that your reply is a year and a half after the thread started, is this a bug?

                        Bazaar is still good btw...
