Fave Asian supply store closed today

I am very sad to report that the Chinatown market at 747 Gore, Sieu Thi Wong Xin, had its last day Jan 1. The owner and his brother have run this and the connected Cathay Herbal for 12 years. The rent has become too punishing. My SIL is going to have to find a new place to buy eggs :-(.

    Very Sorry to hear this it was a great little place run by some truly lovely people I wish them well.

    I guess it's Asia Market for specialties and the trusty Egg Man for staples-along with Sunrise of course-I'll be there tomorrow after work.
