New Year's Eve lounge ideas?

misswonderful1 Dec 30, 2012 04:24 PM

I know it's late, but a few friends are looking for a fun, but relatively quiet bar/lounge to have a few drinks tomorrow night. Almost senior crowd, so don't want super loud music or lines of people. Any place offering appetizers with a live music trio? jazz, soft rock would be great..thinking there must be a good lounge (or hotel lounge) somewhere on the Westside
(Malibu to El Segundo) that would hit the spot...just need to find it!

Have you looked into Vibrato in Bel-Air? I haven't been there in a while, but I've always enjoyed it.

Somehow, I can't imagine ANY lounge or bar being somewhat quiet on NYE. And lines of people should be expected, anywhere you go on that night.....

That being said, I'd recommend going to someplace you know & like, and going very early, and parking yourselves there....if you can get seated.

Don't recall the name immediately, but the new bar at the Fairmount Miramar in Santa Monica may be decent, but not sure if they have music or not.
