Hazelnuts: Where to buy in town?

Matronix Dec 30, 2012 07:57 AM

We have been coming across quite a few baking recipes lately that need hazelnuts. Does anyone know where I can go in town and buy them?

I picked some up from Shuang Hur on University about a week ago. Not sure if they're still in stock, but they were fresh and inexpensive. Check it out!

As KTFoley said most of the co-ops have them. I have also seen them fresh (in the shell) at Trader Joes and Lunds and Byerly's.

Costco and World Market have them shelled and packaged.

If you want some you should move fast as they usually go away after the holiday season.

Nearly all of the co-ops have them -- look for the bulk containers in the refrigerated area.
