Riese's, NYC's evil empire.

When you see 5 different brands of fast food crammed into a single space in Manhattan (Roy Roger's, Pizza Hut, Nathan's, Tim Horton's, KFC, for example.), the Riese Restaurant Group is invariably responsible. And you can count on the worst possible executions of each brand's specialties.

Those of you that live in the suburbs may not be aware of how much worse your favorite awful food can get.

Has anyone out there dealt with Riese professionally, who could shed some light on this unhappy situation?

    1. The Riese Corporation is a necessary evil....not everyone is equipped to handle the overhead it requires to run restaurants in the city.

One reason why they can afford to stay afloat is that they do corner the market in a particular having all the franchises and controlling the block, and market, they can charge more money and control the pricing for their menu items without any other competition.....i.e., they are the only game in town. No one is going to take the extra time on their lunch break to jog a couple of blocks to save a dollar.
