orange marmalade with overnight soak and then quick cooking with pectin?

I can't find my usual orange marmalade recipe, which requires slicing the fruit, peel and fruit still attached to each other, then boiling briefly and soaking overnight, and finally doing the usual boil with pectin and add sugar procedure. The recipes I'm finding on line require boiling for 2 hours. Can anyone help? Thanks.
