i have to take a desert for New Years and...is has to be gluten free...any thoughts besides a flourless cake?
I'd make a lemon gluten free cake served with whipped cream and berried. I like lemon as an end to a holiday meal because it's light and refreshing. Or a lemon curd trifle using a gluten free cake.

Or something similar.
pears poached in pinot noir with creme anglaise or bittersweet chocolate sauce.
A tart or cheesecake in a nut crust.
