Does anyone know where I can get large quantity (5 lbs +) of fresh fish bones in Toronto for fish stock??
Have you tried Kensington Market?
Haven't thought about there, but that's a good idea too. Thanks so much MissBingBing!
Try Diana's Seafood:http://www.dianasseafood.com/
Though any good fishmonger should be able to supply you with fish bones.
Types of fish bones you should look out for are lean, white fish (i.e. Sole, Halibut, Cod, etc).
Asagirl, thanks very much for the link and the tips on fish bones! I'll try there.
