Sunday night solo dining in Charlotte

I will be in Charlottle, NC, on a Sunday evening (visiting from NYC on business) and would like to find the perfect place to have a great meal, dining solo.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

For solo dining, I might first recommend sitting at the bar at 5Church. The bar at Rooster's would be good as well.

Other places downtown where you could feel comfortable sitting at the bar by yourself are Enso for sushi and Asian cuisine, Vida for "upscale" Southwestern/Mexican, and Dandelion Market for decent small plates.

You could also sit at the bar at Halcyon, where you could get great food, but I don't know if it's the best place to dine solo on a Sunday.

5Church would be my top rec as well. Halcyon isn't open for dinner on Sundays, unfortunately.

Charlotte is pretty spread out...what part of the city will you be staying in? Will you have a car?

I will be staying right downtown, and not have a car. So I think I'm hoping for something downtown. Anything decent?
