Restaurants in Carmel, CA?

My wife and I will be staying in Carmel for 2 nights and don't have a clue about restaurants there- any ideas would be much appreciated!

In Carmel, I like Forge in the Forest, it's somewhat casual, the interior is intesting and the food is good. Not exceptional mind-blowing cuisine but I lean towards casual, comfort food anyway.

best restaurant in the area is probably bernardus. pacifics edge at highlands inn (name?) has an amazing view and can be really good. ate at passionfish in pacific grove not too long ago and it's pretty good, but with an absolutely amazing wine list.
