Fresh foie gras in Tokyo

Does anyone know where one can purchase fresh foie gras in the Tokyo area? I'd prefer a brick-and-mortar store....

  1. I did buy some good fresh foie gras at the Kinokuniya Omotesando, after.. I have seen some fresh ones at Isetan Shinjuku, and some frozen version at Nihonbashi Takashimaya(might be more affordable)... If you want to buy a whole fresh foie gras, you'd better call the Traiteur Trois Cochon to get advice!!

Thank you for the info.. I'll check out Kinokuniya or Isetan.

I saw some frozen lobes at Takashimaya in Niko-Tama but they didn't look so good..

Takashimaya in Nihonbashi is not like Takashimaya Shinjuku or other Takashimaya dept stores, the 'foie gras' is sold on a special corner, with truffle oil, ., but the choice at the Shinjuku Isetan is nicer, they offer also foie gras with miso, I am quite curious about it, and might do some last shopping !!
