Txoko closing? [San Francisco, North Beach]
This tweet a few minutes ago from Txoko sounds like it's closing at year end.

bummer, especially since they reworked the menu I've really liked the menu. Wonder if they are reworking it into another concept?

Nope. They are talking about some pop ups and special event. but I think the lease is over in Feb.
They will keep Naked Lunch.
I was talking with friends last night about how it would be able to survive if only it were in the Mission.
We could have a whole thread about if Broadway is salvageable as a restaurant scene.

I am UBER upset over this. Hands down one of my most fav places in SF. especially new places.
I will be doing my best to go as much as I can this last week.
I really hope they have the space for a month or so , so Chef Ian can host some private pop up style events.
