cleaning Tovolo baster....

Hey there, Hounds....

I love my baster, but I handwash
(dishwasher broke a couple years ago and
really never minded washing dishes by hand
anyway)

Anyone out there have any tips?
Can I boil it briefly ? Or pour something in there
to get the grease out safely?
And the big rubber end is greasy inside,
I don't want to damage it, so not sure about the boiling.....

In the past I just used those crappy cheap basters
and changed them out every year....
I like this one though, and at the price
I would like to save it...

...do you not have the cleaning brush that came with the Tovolo baster?
