Pyrex pie plate and lid in oven?

I am awaiting a new casserole dish in the mail, but in the mean time I couldn't help but try a new bread recipe. It calls for the dough to be cooked in a covered dish at 450 and I thought, "eh, I'll just use tin foil." Nope. Of course it's Christmas, that means I'm out of the one essential thing I need.

The only other oven safe thing I have with a lid is my Pyrex pie plate. I know the bottom is oven safe, but is the lid? My only other option would be to take my two 8x8 pans and just set one on top of the other. I could also take my pizza stone and use the bottom of the pie plate to cover the dough. Any thoughts?
