Chinese set menu on Christmas Day

soypower Dec 24, 2012 04:16 PM

It just doesn't feel like Christmas without Chinese food for me...I'm looking for a nice Chinese restaurant that serves special set menus that include duck. I found a couple of old threads on options in the ID, but I'd like to open it up to anywhere in King County. Any suggestions for 2012?

Set menus are not common in Seattle, except maybe for lunch. At least not at the Chinese restaurants I go to.

I guess that was misworded. I meant special family style combo menus for Xmas. I think we went to Ho Ho last year and had a great one, so I was looking for another like that this year. Unfortunately, we ended up at Tai Tung and wish we had gone somewhere else. We've always got next year.

most restaurants have a menu for 8-10 people, just ask them for it. definitely Tea Garden on Rainier, Sun Ya and Perry Ko's China over in Bellevue (but they're not open christmas).

So it's Christmas Day and I'll be hitting up Honey Court this year. Unless there are any other suggestions? The important thing here is roast duck.
