Has the restaurant closed? No answer to the phone when I called this evening. Also dropped from OpenTable. Plus, I drove by and the front was boarded up. If so, sorry to see one of my favorite SOMA Mexican places disappear. Quite a recent departure of Mexican places: Mexico DF, Maya, and now possibly Tres. I wonder if the arrival of Rosa Mexicano has anything to do with this?

Happy to report that Tres is alive and well. Had dinner there on Sunday night.

Started with the guacamole and chips then had the three chicken tacos. All quite tasty.

Maybe someone turned off their OpenTable terminal. That disables reservations.

last year their front door (glass) was broken over the holiday so I suspect they're just being cautious while they are closed for the holidays this year.

I have a hard time believing its boarded up and closed. there just closed for the Holiday.

I dont see Stanton and investors closing up anytime soon.

Rosa is the PF Changs of Mexican food. It would touch what Tres has going on. totally different neighborhoods also
