Christmas Eve with peanut-allergic toddler?
Hounds- help! Our family tradition of Chinese for Christmas Eve is on hold due to wanting to join another family who have a peanut-allergic child. What's a)open b) delicious c) Camberville or nearby w/ easy parking d) appropriate for two toddlers, a newborn, and their parents?
Tall order, but I know I can count on you!

Is an Asian restaurant definitely off the table? My niece has a peanut allergy and has eaten at Chinese restaurants without incident.

re: Parsnipity
Blue Ginger is the one that comes immediately to mind but here are some others:

My niece ate at Kowloon and some other local Chinese restaurants though and, with the usual precautions of alerting the restaurant to the peanut allergy and always carrying an epi pen, has not had a problem. Eating out anywhere, regardless of the type of restaurant, requires diligence as I'm sure the toddler's parents are aware.
