Had a very good meal at Leyla the other evening. It wasn't too busy so not sure how service would be on a packed eve. A little slow getting our order taken and our drinks but after that service flowed perfectly. We had the sweetbreads, brook trout, scallops, onion soup and a chocolate dessert. All delicious! Im not sure why they are not as busy as so many other restaurants in this area but we would definitely return.

It's a bit of a bad luck space. A few places have opened and closed there in the last few years, 84 on 7th being the most recent.

Have Leyla done anything to make the exterior more inviting? It always seems dark to me.

Not sure what it looked like before...Large windows looking out on the street so you can see everyone going by. Wooden tables. I though it was small and cozy.
