Milk chocolate sauce make ahead

Can I make a milk chocolate sauce ( for ice cream etc) a day ahead, refrigerate and reheat or will something go wrong w the tempering etc? I plan to heat cream with a bit of butter, pour over milk chocolate and add a bit of vanilla. Thank you!!

  1. Yes, you can gently reheat your sauce. There is no tempering in play once you add the cream and such.
