Best ice cream near Hamilton.

I am looking for an ice cream to go in the baked Alaska for the Christmas dinner. Now, I don't just want to put Hagendaaz in there. I love Summer's Sweet Memories homemade ice cream in Yorkville Toronto, but it seems a bit too much trouble to go to Toronto just to get some ice cream. Are there any other comparable places near Hamilton?

I really like Hewitt's ice cream - available at Dyment's farm stand, Picone's (both in Dundas), and Westdale Green Grocer.
I'm sure it's available elsewhere, but those places are where I've bought it in the past.
Horn of Plenty (in Dundas) carries Kawartha Dairy Co. ice cream, it's very good as well.
Picone's also carries some delicious gelato.
Hope you find what you're looking for!

Funny, always seen the term baked Alaska and never checked to see what it was.. I actually thought that it was baked fish before and I was wondering why you wanted ice cream stuffed inside.... Ha, one of those mornings I guess.
