Ataufo mangoes

Does anyplace in manhattan have ataulfo mangoes --the little yellow ones? I know they're not in season til Feb but Whole Foods had them a couple of weeks ago -- and now they don't. Have you seen them anywhere?

I would try "Curry Hill" (maybe Kalustyan's or Spice Corner). Or Chinatown.

Thank you for your response, Kathryn. I doubt that Kalustyan's would have them. Maybe Chinatown. The next time I'm in the area I'll look around.

I mentioned Kalustyan's because when I was looking for Indian mangoes I went there and a few other places, and all I kept finding were ataulfo mangoes!

I'm also looking for delicata squash and thought I'd ask you before putting up another post. They should be in season until February but the markets on the UWS are out of them now. Have you seen them anywhere recently? What about Union Square Market?

Thank you! I planned to go to Chinatown tomorrow and will call Kalustyan's before I make the trip. I'll let you know. I've been ordering Alfonso mangos from mangozz.com for a couple of years. The quality is excellent.

No luck at Kalustyan's or Chinatown so I'll just have to be patient for another month or two.
