Sad News About FoodFuser

Some of us have learned about the passing of Food Fuser, a frequent poster here at Chowhound. His avatar was the Pillsbury Doughboy. He was known in the world as Dawson Sather. We no longer will have the benefit of his unique view of our world and his witty poems celebrating food, family, and fun.

We hope he's having one heck of a celebration with Sam and Moh.

I wonder if his son has any idea how prolific FoodFuser was on these pages....or how much he's missed.

Speaking on behalf of Scargod (who had communicated with Dawson on occasion), Dawson will be another Chowhound friend he never met but had great admiration for.
It is sad. Sad to know of a person dying who was bright, good and kind and contributed so much to this world being a better and more joyful place.
