Best store for olive oil selection

unlaced Dec 22, 2012 09:41 AM

What is the best store in Montreal for a fantastic olive oil selection? I am especially looking for stores with a great range of "fresh" olive oils ie ones which actually list a use by date on the bottle. A selection from a variety of countries would also be a plus!

Thank you!

Les Douceurs du Marche in the Atwater market.Ask for their suggestions on a kitchen staple(by the gallon) and as I do their suggestion for a premium oil suitable for dipping.

It depends on what kind of olive oil you like though you've already stated this with "fresh" oils.

I buy from both Olives & Olives and Douceurs du marché because their selections don't overlap that much. Gotos like Masia el altet are available at the former, while Estoublon is at the latter.
