have seen 2 newish places in chinatown lately and wonder if anyone has been and if they are any good. one is next to the red room on spadina (just south of college), and the other is on dundas, just east of spadina.. i think i remember you have to go down some stairs.

The one on Spadina open just a few months ago I think, it probably was not mentioned in those threads. Not sure about the one on Dundas.

thanks! i just looked through those threads and they do not mention the places i am talking about. the only one they mention located in downtown chinatown is chinese traditional buns and asian legend and those are not the newer places i am asking about (i already enjoy those 2 places). i wish i could remember the names of these other places i am talking about. actually, the one on dundas might be called "northern chinese cuisine" or something similar.
