Renting a commercial kitchen space
My husband and I are trying to find a commercial prep kitchen space (800 ft or so) to rent - not by the hour, but full time - to set up our spice company in the Chicago area. Location is flexible - though on the north side would be a massive plus. Mostly, we sell our products online, but we'd love to have a small storefront (if possible).
We've tried working with a realtor - and that was a total bomb. Does anyone know of someone either looking to lease out a space - or a realtor that isn't going to rip us off? (Long story. Lessons learned.)

You might want to post on www.lthforum.com, particularly their Professional Forum. Although this particular thread didn't get a lot of hits, I'm showing it as an example, as I think LTH in the long run would serve you better. The Chicago CH page seems to attract more restaurant fans than professional insiders.
