Rangeley Fine Dining?

My husband and I are looking for a decent restaurant with nice ambience in Rangeley for the 31st of December. We have made reservations for At The Corner Side for that evening, but I'm wondering if my fellow chowhounds have any additional recommendations that you think might trump our choice.

These guys do a pretty good job. it's in ocuossic..just up the road from Rangley.

I would call to make sure it's open.

They used to feed the deer out back so get a window seat!

Thanks for your reply! I didn't get it in time, but no matter, there will be other times. We did end up going to the Corner Side for appetizers one evening. We had the baked brie plate with pesto and roasted garlic and baguette and the truffle fries. I have to say that the truffle fries may be the best french fires I have ever had in my life. The brie was also super yummy. I definitely want to go back and try the full on dinner, but alas it was not to be this trip. The ambience is fine dining, although obviously you can dress casual. The service was great. I took a picture in front of their "hobbit hole" which I since learned houses the owners office. The owner came up and chatted with us, which we all thought was very friendly like. All in all, I highly recommend the place.

Had a great spinach and mushroom eggs benedict one morning at a lovely breakfast spot in town. I think it was Moosely Bagels, but I can't remember exactly.
