Any suggestions for restaurants with private room for 35 ppl for offsite corporate event? Would like either someplace with local flavor or a foodie spot and somewhere either near our hotel or Taliesin West as we are doing a guided tour there in the late afternoon. Terrace and or view a plus. Thanks in advance.

Elements is a great choice. You might look at Lon's @ Hermosa Inn, or Sassi in North Scottsdale

With that size of group maybe you could contact small restaurants and see if you can rent the place out. FnB is one place that comes to mind.

Roaring Fork is now a corporate restaurant but still has some SW flair and I know they do a lot of private parties. Only a few miles from your hotel too.

Elements is a great choice - amazing view.

The "new" Roaring Fork just participated in a March of Dimes' Chefs' Evening event, and we were impressed by their fare. That was our first exposure, since Chef McGrath departed, so we appreciated that, somewhat limited tasting.

I've only been there after McGrath sold and think their happy hour at the bar (all night in the summertime) is one of the best deals around. I always enjoy their food but not a lot of love on this board anymore. I typically go and graze on apps, split the burger, and have a margarita at the bar. Green chile pork stew is my favorite..

I had received few reports here (maybe missed them, as we travel so very much), but the crew at that March of Dimes "Chef's Evening" impressed us.

Hope that we will be in town, after the New Year, and can get back in touch with PHX dining.
