2012 SGV openings & closings: NON-Chinese
It's that time of year again. What restaurants opened and closed around the SGV in 2012? Chandavkl and TonyC. have the Chinese restaurant scene covered brilliantly (and I'm pleased on the rare occasion I spotted something before them), so...I'm looking for all other restaurants - Mexican, Indian, Italian, breakfast joints, etc. - and those outside the Valley Blvd. and Rowland Heights corridor.
Yes, this will be a list for publication and I will definitely thank CH and the CHers for the data.

I could probably populate this thread with 10 posts if I could remember to keep track of all the goings-on on Main St. in Alhambra between Atlantic and Garfield.
Just 2 of the top of my head.
Opened: Vino at Trio
Opened: Boteco
Shuttered: Medium Rare*(*In fact, I believe Medium Rare opened and shuttered in 2012. Someone correct me if they know for sure.)

The first place to jump to mind is Racion.
The second through sixth places to jump to mind (Vol 94, Wistaria, etc.) all appear, after a bit of Googling, to have actually opened in late 2011. So either this was a bit of a slow year, or I'm just behind the curve... come to think of it, probably both.

Orleans Corner closed in Arcadia. I think it was replaced by a Mexican restaurant, but I'm not sure.
Liang's Village Cuisine closed in Arcadia and was replaced by "Maru Japanese Restaurant"
I think Denny's Restaurant in Rosemead closed and will be replaced by a Chinese vegetarian restaurant that has gone through several name and location changes already.
