Can someone recommend an eating and/or drinking establishment near Carlsbad for NYE?

Jumping on board this thread (not hijacking it!).....need a location up there for NYE also. I don't know what is great in Encinitas these days (miss you Blanca!).

Prefer something closer to the 78 since we have to go to a party smack in the middle of it afterwards. I don't know of anything on the 15 side either.

Q'ero might be kind of fun. Chef Monica Szepesy is very creative and passionate about her preparations. Very unique flavors. Her empanaditas of all flavors are very good, and I love, love, love her Costillas en Jora. Oh and I can't forget an overall personal favorite . . . papa rellenos!
