Sourcing: Rock Shrimp

Came upon a Sara Moulton recipe and was reminded that I love rock shrimp, but that I haven't had it since I lived in the DC area. Any ideas how easy (or hard) it is to find around here? Would Ippolito's, John Yi or any of the the markets Washington Avenue carry it?

You can call Trader Joe's. They may sell frozen rock shrimp sometimes.

Your best bet at Ippolito's is to call first. If they don't have it on hand they can probably get it pretty quickly. But if you don't need it right away, you might want to wait until next week since this might just be their busiest week of the year due to Christmas Eve Seven Fishes Dinners.
