Napa restaurants with covered patio

I am planning a weekend trip around my reservation at the French Laundry and will be bringing my dog. I don't want him to be left alone for all the meals but this weekend is going to rain. Does anyone know of any good restuarants in Napa with a covered patio and dog friendly?

  1. don't know about dog friendly, but Redd has a covered patio.

    1. I am with pinotho, not sure about the canine friendly part, but Bistro Jeanty has a patio as well.

      1. Bistro Don Giovanni
        Taylor's (Gott's)

I thought of Gott's/Taylor's too -- both the original in St Helena and the one in Napa proper. Unfortunately the deck area at Oxbow isn't covered. I had a rather damp lunch there last week.

        2. Called Redd. They don't open the patio if it is too cold....... Otherwise they are dog friendly

I was going to say, even places with covered patios probably won't have them open when it's cold, windy, and raining.

Angele does - they have these kick-ass flame-throwing heaters...

(Oh yeah, Downtown Joe's does as well but the food is atrocious and only the locals go there to drink beer, eat bar food, and watch sports).
