Collapsing Posts in Old Threads....

I don't know if it's just me, but NONE of the threads I open have any collapsed posts the way the old design did. That was a great advantage that I miss sorely! Or am I the only one who doesn't have it in this new environment? The old way was soooooo easy. I immediately knew what I'd read and only the new posts were opened. Now everything -- new and old -- are open when I view a thread. I guess I won't be checking out any of the old threads that have hundreds of posts! Is there ANY chance of getting the collapsed old posts back when we open a thread?

Oh, and I also miss the "Favorites" where I could easily access the boards I frequented most. I've looked all over (or at least I think I have) and can't find it any more, so I assume it went the way of the collapsed posts?

Don't mean to be negative. I know you guys have worked your tails off on this new format, but these are two things that really were excellent! Any chance they might live again?

I'm having the same issue with opening threads I've read and my read posts are not collapsed. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it's rather annoying, especially with lonnnnng posts where it may be quite difficult to figure out where the new post is.

There's a link to the latest post right under the original post. I think it is now easier to scan threads for new posts - just grab the scroll bar and pull down. The new ones standout quite nicely.

You should still have your favourite boards, they have just relabeled it 'my categories' for some reason.

Posts should collapse, and will turn a darker grey, it might not be as evident because there is now a preview of the collapsed post, it shortens down to one line so it gives an idea of what the collapsed post contains. If you are definitely not noticing collapsing, then it might be a bug, as it is intended to be collapsed, just not as obvious now.

YAAAAYYY...! For the very first time, I just opened thread and some posts were collapsed. But it didn't happen with this one. Oh, well.... 50% is better than 0%!
