Looking for suggestions within a mile of 9th Ave and 22 St other than Blossom and Mesa Grill, both of which we have been to multiple times.

Since within a mile is okay, Junoon is an option.

I love the restaurant, Tipsy Parson @ 156 9th Avenue, between 19th-20th Street. Great food, lovely service with attention to detail in a wonderfully designed space. Either before or after, go to Bathtub Gin, a bordello style bar @ 132 9th Avenue, between 18th-19th Streets for some delicious cocktails. Both places are unusual and unusually good. Enjoy!

Wow, within a mile, that's a lot of territory.
As far as closer to the location: I second Co. and Tia Pol
I'll add Basta Pasta and Hill Country (not the ribs, but the brisket)

          Very good suggestions already.

          Adding:
Ovest for brick oven pizza and pastas
          Trestle on Tenth for Swiss

one mile radius would also include:
          Scarpetta
          Aldea
          Rocking Horse Cafe
          15 East

Co. (pronounced "Company") for very good pizza and salads, at 24th and 9th; Chelsea Chinese (f/k/a Grand Sichuan) for very good Sichuan at 24th and 9th; Txikito for very good tapas, on 9th between 24th and 25th.

                  Second all of Blumie's suggestions.

Txikito is much better than Tia Pol. (The chef at Txikito is ex-Tia Pol.)

Time for me to giveTxikito a try. Tia Pol had some of the best Patatas Bravas and Gambos I ever had
