Posts appear out of order

anyone else having trouble with responding posts not lining up with the post one was responding to? this seems to happen when I post multiple responses to different posts in a single thread in a single session.

  1. Do you mean after you have posted your reply isn't properly aligned? Can you permalink one on a thread where you are noticing this and put it in a reply here so we can see it?

if you look at this thread:

you will see three replies of mine to the Dairy Queen from about an hour ago.....however, one reply was to the Dairy Queen, one was to a Joan N post up thread, and one was to a Gio post also up thread.

      1. re: qianning

I think if you look at other threads you'll see that all the replies get threaded in the same way your replies have in that example you refer to. Your reply to Joan N was the second one after MeIMM with one intervening post by Joan M to MeIMM, so your reply lines up with the one to Joan M by MeIMM in reply to Joan. The others are all in a threaded descending stair step style that this sort of threaded architecture uses (at least AFAIK).

    2. The sort order defaulted to post by original post date not latest reply. Click on latest reply header in the board to re-sort.

OK, i'll look into that. but why does the top corner of my posts to Joan N and Gio read re: The Dairy Queen, when in fact I replied to posts by Joan N and Gio in two out of three cases?

        1. re: Mattapoisett in LA

Are you sure you are referring to posts from today, not from sa few days ago?

          1. re: qianning

            See same thing happened here:
"Are you sure you are referring to posts from today, not from sa few days ago", this was posted in reply to servorg, NOT Mattapoisett in LA

        2. qianning, it looks like you may be using an older version of Firefox, which may factor into the problem. Are you able to update your browser to the latest version?

I'll look into updating my Firefox.....thanks for pointing out a potential source of the problem. If that doesn't fix it or if I can't up-date for some reason. I'll get back to you. Again thanks for your help.

Hi-I did up-grade to the newest Firefox, but I am still having the same problem. Any other ideas on how to fix this?
